We agree a date with you, prepare the model you want and hand it over at our Volketswil showroom. Bring a valid driving licence for the category concerned – we have to see it before you set off.

What a test ride costs – and how you get the money back

As Switzerland’s largest Honda motorcycle dealer, Honda Motorrad Zürich keeps practically every model available as a demo bike – a unique opportunity to ride the motorcycle you want before you buy it.

Handling contribution for test rides – credited in full towards your motorcycle purchase

For every test ride we charge a handling contribution: 125 cc CHF 20.–, all models over 125 cc CHF 40.–, Honda Goldwing / Fireblade CHF 60.– (helmet rental CHF 10.–, plus a balaclava for CHF 25.– as a mandatory purchase for hygiene reasons). If you then buy a motorcycle from us, the full amount is credited 100 % towards the purchase – when a purchase contract is signed within six months of the test ride.

Short test or longer ride? A test ride is designed for 15 to 25 minutes and is not a replacement vehicle. If you need a machine for a full day or longer, book a motorcycle rental in Zurich with daily rates instead.

Why a handling contribution?

Wear, depreciation and additional kilometres on the vehicle
Fuel at high petrol prices plus the effort for preparation and administration
The contribution does not cover the actual costs – without it, our other customers would have to bear the cost of test rides
