The Honda PCX is the best-selling scooter in its class: 125 cc, 1, around 2.1 l/100 km and an 8.1-litre tank. Ridden on a category A1 licence. At our showroom in Volketswil ZH you will find the PCX 125 as a new vehicle, together with accessories, custom work and servicing from our own workshop.
The Honda PCX 125 runs a 125 cc single cylinder producing 1. That places it exactly within category A1, which in Switzerland is open from the age of 16. Drive is through a continuously variable automatic transmission – there is no clutch and no gear changing.
Fuel consumption is around 2.1 l/100 km. Combined with the 8.1-litre tank, that gives a range which carries commuters for weeks between fill-ups. For many of our customers this is precisely why the PCX wins out over the car and public transport.
Every figure on this page comes from our own stock. Full details of an individual machine – colour, mileage, equipment – are shown in the detail view of each scooter further down.

The PCX 125 has a 125 cc single cylinder producing 1 with a continuously variable automatic transmission. That output is the upper limit of category A1.
Consumption is around 2.1 l/100 km. Together with the 8.1-litre tank, that makes the PCX one of the cheapest ways to get to work every day.
The tank holds 8.1 litres. At around 2.1 l/100 km, one fill-up covers very long commuting distances.
The PCX 125 requires category A1. How to get there is explained on our page about the Swiss motorcycle licence.
No. The PCX has a continuously variable automatic transmission – open the throttle and ride, with no clutch and no gear changes.
The Smart Key is a keyless access system: the fob stays in your pocket and the scooter is unlocked and started with a rotary control. It is part of the equipment on the PCX 125 DX.
At present we stock the PCX exclusively as a new vehicle in the 125 version. Which scooters are actually available is shown live in the vehicle list further down – stock changes continuously.
Honda PCX 125 – the standard version, available in grey, blue and black.
Honda PCX 125 i ABS – with anti-lock braking, in black.
Honda PCX 125 DX – the higher equipment level with Smart Key, in red.
The Honda PCX 160 belongs to the same range and is the larger-capacity sister of the 125. We do not currently hold one in stock. Get in touch if you are looking for a PCX 160 – we will check availability and terms for you.
The DX is the higher equipment level and adds the Smart Key. It sits above the standard version on price – you will find the current prices for both in the vehicle list.
Our current stock holds the PCX in grey, black, blue and red. The vehicle list on this page shows what is available right now.
You will see the current price directly on each machine in the list on this page. We keep prices only there so that they are always correct – stock and pricing change continuously.
The PCX 160 is not currently in our stock. Contact us and we will check availability and delivery time for you.
At the moment we stock the PCX only as a new vehicle. Our used scooters and motorcycles are listed under used vehicles – it is worth checking regularly.
WW125 is Honda's internal type designation for the PCX 125. You will mostly come across it in spare parts and accessory catalogues.
What you see in the list are our used machines, demonstrators and demo bikes. If nothing is listed, we have none in stock for immediate sale at the moment. But as soon as their demo period ends, as-new machines become available for sale on a rolling basis.
Please get in touch. As-new demonstrator, demo and good second hand machines come in all the time – often as part exchanges, before they are advertised, or once their demo period has ended. Tell us what you are looking for: we will contact you as soon as something suitable arrives and are happy to reserve it for you.
We take your current machine in part exchange. Bring it in or send us photos and details – we will make you an offer and set it against the purchase price.

Pre-owned scooters are available on request and change constantly. If the list on this page shows none, there is none in stock – tell us what you are looking for and we will get in touch as soon as one arrives.
A scooter from our demonstrator fleet: little used, technically as new, usually with the balance of the warranty – and cheaper than a new machine.
The service record, variator and drive belt, brakes, tyre age and the state of the battery – on a scooter those are the parts that drive running costs.
Yes, including older ranges and other makes. We appraise the machine here and credit it against the purchase.
Yes, for a contribution towards costs which is credited against a purchase. Please book in advance so the scooter you want is ready.
That depends on the age and mileage of the individual machine. Demonstrators often still carry the factory warranty – we tell you exactly what applies to each one.
We stock the genuine Honda accessory range for the PCX 125 and PCX 160 and fit it too. The most requested parts one by one.
I am interested in accessories for the Honda PCX 125
Ask about accessoriesThere is already room for a helmet under the seat of the PCX. Anyone commuting daily gets much further with a top box: a second helmet, rain gear and a bag disappear into it with nothing strapped down.
We fit rack and case properly and key them alike with the vehicle.

A taller screen takes pressure off chest and helmet as soon as you leave town. In winter it keeps the cold off as well.
The right height depends on your build. Sit on the scooter here and we will choose it together.
Heated grips are the cheapest accessory with the greatest everyday benefit. Anyone riding in spring and autumn will not want to be without them.
We wire them permanently into the electrics, not with a clamp – that lasts and does not drain the battery.
A leg shield keeps rain and cold air off your knees and makes the PCX usable all year.
An alarm system from the genuine range is pre-wired at the factory. Worth having if you park outdoors – we fit and register it.
As a Honda Dream Dealer we service the PCX with genuine parts – variator, drive belt, brakes, tyres, roadworthiness preparation and winter storage. Tell us the model, year and mileage and we prepare the parts in advance.
Custom work does not affect registration or warranty as long as the parts are approved. That is exactly what we watch when selecting them – and we document the work.
The most popular are a top case and carrier, a taller screen, heated grips, a phone mount and a USB socket. We fit Honda genuine accessories and advise you on the right combination.
Yes. Custom work is carried out in our own workshop in Volketswil – from a single bolt-on part to a complete commuter set-up. Get in touch and we will look at your scooter together.
Yes, a top case with carrier is the most bought accessory for the PCX. We fit it properly and advise you on the right size.
From us. We carry the common wear parts – brake pads, filters, spark plug, battery, drive belt and variator components – and order everything else through the Honda parts service. In catalogues the PCX 125 is listed as WW125.
That depends on the scope of work. We give you an estimate in advance – contact us through our workshop page or by phone.
When Honda genuine accessories are fitted properly by us, the factory warranty remains in place. The warranty can be extended to up to six years with no mileage limit.
Commuters gain time every single day with the PCX: no queues, no hunting for a parking space, around 2.1 l/100 km. Anyone travelling daily between Volketswil, Uster, Dübendorf and Zurich recovers the purchase through running costs remarkably quickly.
Younger riders from the age of 16 start out on the PCX with a category A1 licence. The automatic transmission makes that first step relaxed – there is no clutch and no gearbox to think about.
As a second vehicle alongside a car or a large motorcycle, the PCX is the uncomplicated way into town. And if you would rather park it up for the cold months, we offer winter storage.
Yes. The automatic transmission makes the PCX one of the easiest ways to start riding – no clutch, no gear changes. For a safe start we also recommend a taster course.
With category A1, which in Switzerland is open from the age of 16. The route to it is described on our page about the Swiss motorcycle licence.
At around 2.1 l/100 km the PCX pays for itself very quickly on a commuting route – and it saves time in city traffic on top of that.
The PCX is built as a two-seater. Whether you may carry a passenger depends on your licence and the vehicle registration – we clarify that with you at the point of purchase.
For everyday runs out of town, yes. The PCX is built as a city and commuting machine; if you regularly ride motorways or Alpine passes, a larger model suits you better – we are happy to advise.
In principle yes – with heated grips, a taller screen and suitable tyres. If you would rather put it away, we offer winter storage.
At around 2.1 l/100 km with an 8.1-litre tank, the PCX is among the most economical powered two-wheelers on the road. If you ride 20 kilometres to work and back each day, you rarely visit a filling station – and that is where the difference to a car really shows.
Add the low fixed costs of a 125: cheap insurance, a low road tax and parking options a car simply does not have. Together with the purchase price that adds up to a calculation which pays off for many riders inside the first year.
What we will not give you are invented test figures. Every number on this page comes from our own stock. If you want to know how the PCX feels on your route, arrange a test ride with us in Volketswil.

With 8.1 litres of tank capacity and around 2.1 l/100 km, the theoretical range is very large. The real figure depends on riding style, load and route.
Besides fuel there is insurance, road tax and the annual service. A 125 is considerably cheaper than a car on all three counts. We work out the service costs with you in advance.
Intervals depend on mileage and age. We record them in the service book and remind you in good time – appointments through our workshop.
The factory warranty can be extended to up to six years with no mileage limit.
Well-kept Honda scooters are sought after on the used market. A complete service history and genuine accessories both tell when you come to sell – and we will take your scooter in part exchange.
Yes. We charge a contribution towards costs for this, which is credited to you when you buy. Arrange an appointment with us.
We stock not only the PCX but the whole scooter range. That makes comparison easy, because you can see the machines next to one another.
| Model | Displacement | In short |
|---|---|---|
| Honda PCX 125 | 125 cc | The all-rounder with the best overall package |
| Honda NSC 110 Vision | 108–109 cc | The affordable way into city riding |
| Honda SH 125 Mode | 125 cc | Large-wheel scooter, agile in traffic |
| Honda SH 125 Sporty | 125 cc | The sportier SH version |
Current prices are shown on each machine in the list on this page and in its detail view.
Both have 125 cc. The SH is a large-wheel scooter, while the PCX follows a lower, comfort-focused design. The best answer is to sit on both at our showroom.
The NSC 110 Vision is the most affordable way in and slightly smaller in capacity. If you want more equipment and more reserve, choose the PCX 125.
The PCX 160 has more capacity and therefore more reserve out of town. It does require a higher licence category than the A1-compatible 125. We will advise you personally.
A scooter wins on automatic transmission, storage space and weather protection. A 125 motorcycle gives you a gearbox and a motorcycle riding feel instead. Both fall under category A1.
That depends on the model and on the top case fitted. Bring your helmet along – we will try it on the machine itself and see what fits.
Yes, and we encourage it. Let us know beforehand and we will have the models you want ready for you.
What decides a tight moment is rarely the engine. Braking on a wet surface, swerving in traffic, where you look through a bend – that is what keeps you upright. More speed and more lean never come from more courage or more risk, but from better coordination, clean timing and precise vision. Anyone riding faster than their technique allows will come off sooner or later.
The best place to train that is away from public roads. Off road the surface is uneven and loose and speeds are lower – which widens the time window for every input and lets you work near the limit with far less danger than on tarmac. A light, agile machine forgives far more mistakes. Once the technique is there, you carry it across to your own PCX.
Courses and training dates are run by the MX-Academy. Participants are split into groups and analysed individually. The school is run by Chris Möckli, a two-time European champion; it is supported by Honda Switzerland and has the Honda off-road models on site. You are welcome to bring your own machine.

Test ride: sit on the PCX before you decide. We charge a contribution towards costs, which is credited to you when you buy.
Finance and leasing: you can finance your PCX through Honda Bank on attractive terms.
Part exchange: we will take your current vehicle in part exchange, whatever the make.
As the first Honda Dream Dealer in German-speaking Switzerland, based in Volketswil ZH, we advise you in person – from choosing the machine through accessories and custom work to servicing.
